Wedding
Trevor and Jim were in a wedding on Saturday. John (the groom) grew up with Jim. Jim was the best man and Trevor was the ring bearer. This was the 1st time I have seen Trevor in a tux and he sure looked sharp!! Jim, of course, looks dashing in a tux :) They were married in an outside park with a gazebo. It turned out to be a beautiful day.
Abby's Doctor Visit
Since Abby's cousins always post doctor visits on their blogs, we decided to post Abby's doctor visit. I took Abby to the doctor to get her yearly physical in order to go to Girl Scout Camp in June. Abby is in the 75 - 90th percentile for height and weight. She is in the middle of a growth spurt and doing great!! She is 4 foot 7 inches -- not too long before she will be taller than her Mom :)

Abby Needs Glasses :)
Abby has been complaining that she can't see the board at school very well. When we went to the eye doctor, he informed us that Abby is near-sighted. She is getting glasses! She is pretty excited about it. We took pictures of the different parts of the exam so all of her cousins could see. We will post pictures when the actual glasses come in.

Trevor's Spring Band Concert
On Monday, May 17th, Trevor performed in his 5th grade Spring Band Concert. Trevor plays percussion (drums, etc.) He has made a lot of progress since December!! One of the highlights of the concert was the last number when the 5th - 12th graders performed together. In Trevor's words, "Did you see how big the highschoolers were??"

Abby's Spring Concert
On Tuesday, May 4th, Abby had her Spring Concert. The theme was "The Wonderful World of Disney through the Ages." It was very appropriate since we had just been to Disney World in March. They were supposed to wear Disney clothes. Abby sang Seize the Day, Zippity Do Dah, and Be Our Guest.

Garlic Basil Porkchops Leftovers
The best part of these Homemade Gourmet (http://www.homemadegourmet.com/) meals is that they are designed for 2 meals. It can't get better than that for me!! On Friday, I took the leftovers, cooked bowtie pasta, tossed the pasta, porkchops, olive oil, and cherry tomatoes together for another excellent meal!!
Garlic Basil Porkchops
I went to a Homemade Gourmet party over Spring Break and I was amazed by their products!! Here is my first meal using my "spices" from the party....Garlic Basil Porkchops. Not only were they delicious, but they were easy to make using only 3 ingredients and they cooked in my crock pot all day long!!

More Communion Pictures
I included a picture of all the children making their First Communion. We also had a small cake made by our cake lady Linda. She airbrushed a yellow cross on the cake behind the words. It was a great day!
This is the banner that Abby had to make to hang in the Church (The cricut sure comes in handy!!).
Abby's First Communion
Abby made her First Communion on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at our Lutheran Church. It was a beautiful day and Abby looked very grown-up! Gramma and Poppa and Gramma were at the Church with us for the ceremony. There were 7 girls and 1 boy making their First Communion.
