Kids say the darndest things!!

We did have a little bit of a rough start to our day at the Kennedy Space Center.  It was very cold (about 46 degrees) and windy and of course we weren't dressed quite warm enough.  We got on the tour bus, after waiting in a very long line, and got dropped off at the launch pad exhibit.  We then waited in another VERY long line to get back on the bus.  We had decided to stay on the bus and go back to the main visitor center.  Unfortunately, we were forced to get off the bus and go to the next exhibit.  We were looking at the various stages of an Apollo rocket.

Trev:  "This is the best part of the day so far!"
Abby:  "Sitting on the floor eating dinner?!?!?"

Yes, we were indeed sitting on the floor eating dinner because there were no tables to eat at!!  Fortunately, we went back to the KSC on Tuesday and had a much more positive experience!!

KSC needs to take some lessons from Walt Disney World on how to run happy, efficient, and fast tourist destinations!!!

Remember when we were in the Smokey Mountains and it rained the entire time and we told everyone it was the best vacation ever?
